Hydro Jetting & Plumbing Technician

Glendale, AZ

Hourly / Full-Time

About the Role:

The Hydro Jetting Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining and restoring the functionality of plumbing systems through high-pressure water jetting techniques. This position involves diagnosing blockages and other plumbing issues, ensuring that systems are cleared efficiently and effectively. The technician will be responsible for operating specialized equipment to remove debris, grease, and other obstructions from pipes and drains. A successful Hydro Jetting Technician will contribute to the overall satisfaction of clients by providing timely and high-quality service.

Ultimately, this role is essential in preventing future plumbing issues and ensuring the longevity of the plumbing infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

* Experience in plumbing or a related field preferred.

* Must have the ability to obtain a TWIC card

* At least 18 years old

* Basic reading and writing in English.

* Must pass pre-employment physical, drug, and alcohol screening

Preferred Qualifications:

* Certification in plumbing or hydro jetting techniques.

* Experience with drain cleaning and plumbing maintenance.

* Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.

Responsibilities:

* Practices safety procedures per training and guidelines when working

* Operates all necessary equipment in the service line by following training and guidelines, and safety procedures.

* Perform maintenance when required

* Performs other duties as assigned

Working Environment

* Adapt quickly and work professionally and competently

* Traveling when necessary

* On call 24/7

* Hot/Cold and Wet Climate

* Confined spaces

Skills:

The required skills for this position include technical proficiency in operating hydro jetting equipment, which is essential for effectively clearing blockages. Strong problem-solving skills are necessary to diagnose plumbing issues accurately and determine the best course of action. Excellent communication skills are vital for interacting with clients and explaining the services provided. Attention to detail is important for documenting work and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
