Responsibilities- Maintenance and repair of small engines, both gas and diesel.
- Perform preventative maintenance work, such as checking oil and fluid levels on all equipment.
- Maintain inventory records on repairs made, parts ordered, and part inventories.
- Coordinate work with operations and maintain communication for scheduling repairs and planned maintenance.
- Provide after‑hours support for critical timelines when needed.
- Diagnose and correct electrical problems.
- Use pneumatic tools for construction equipment.
- Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- General knowledge of construction‑related equipment.
- Existing CDL or ability/willingness to obtain a Class A CDL.
- Work for the largest natural gas distribution contractor in the United States.

- Work includes prolonged and repeated lifting (including overhead, up to 50 lbs), standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching, crouching, and crawling.
- Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice.
- Work is performed within the "red zone" of heavy equipment.
- Safety requires quick and accurate hand‑eye coordination and constant state of alertness.
- Pass pre‑employment, random, post‑accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens.
- Provide valid US work authorization documents for E‑Verify.
- Satisfactory results of a pre‑employment background check.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Pass pre‑employment medical fit‑for‑duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card.
- Join and maintain union membership.
