Aircraft Mechanic, F‑35 – Level 4

Location:

Luke Air Force Base, AZ. This role focuses on maintenance operations for the F‑35 airframe as part of a Quick‑Response Team supporting global mission deployments.

• Serve as subject‑matter expert on all facets of F‑35 airframe maintenance.
• Respond to maintenance events and facilitate rapid aircraft return to airworthiness, frequently traveling over 50% of the time often on short notice.
• Maintain flight‑line driver’s competency card and support interim contractor support (ICS) operations at fixed F‑35 sites.
• Perform physical work including lifting up to 50lb, repetitive overhead tasks, and other duties required by F‑35 maintenance.

• Minimum 2years of hands‑on F‑35 maintenance, including experience with the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and its components (Anomaly Fault Resolution System, Customer Relationship Management, Joint Technical Data Navigation, PMA/MVI, Configuration Management, supply‑chain activities).
• Minimum 4years of hands‑on experience in 5‑ or 7‑skill level USAF AFSC, CDI/CDQAR Navy NEC, CDI/CDQAR Marine Corps, or equivalent on a fighter‑attack platform.
• Knowledge of safety, tool control, foreign‑object damage (FOD), supply, hazardous material (HAZMAT), quality, and security programs.
• U.S. citizen, willing to obtain and maintain an Interim/Secret clearance.

• FAA aircraft and Power‑Plant Mechanic license.
• Proficiency with Lockheed Martin’s F‑35 Nose‑to‑Tail maintenance concept.
• Low‑Observable/Structures, avionics systems, and weapons/egress systems maintenance experience.

Position requires a Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
