Position SummaryMirror Works is a commercial glazing contractor in Glendale, Arizona and we are hiring lead-level glaziers to run work on commercial projects across the Phoenix metropolitan area, including projects for Mayo Clinic and Honor Health.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Run point on curtain wall, storefront, and interior glazing installs.
- Lead a crew of 2-4 glaziers.
- Work off construction documents and shop drawings; handle layout.
- Coordinate with GC superintendent's and other trades.
- Keep your scope on schedule and installed right the first time.
- Other duties as required.
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years commercial glazing (curtain wall, storefront, entrances, interior glass)
- Experience leading a crew, or ready to step up
- Able to read shop drawings and perform layout.
- Valid driver's license
Preferred
- OSHA 30
- Healthcare or occupied-facility project experience a plus.
- Journeyman-level applicants will be considered - rate scaled to experience.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the workday.
