Position SummaryHorn Doors, the door and hardware division of Mirror Works, is hiring lead-level commercial door installers. Our work runs across the Phoenix metro, including healthcare projects for Mayo Clinic and Honor Health.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Install hollow metal and wood doors, frames, and finish hardware on commercial jobs.
- Work off door schedules and hardware sets.
- Handle punch and adjustments.
- Coordinate with GC's and other trades.
- Other duties as required.
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years commercial doors/frames/hardware
- Can read a door schedule and hardware schedule cold
- Own hand tools
- Valid driver's license
Preferred
- OSHA 30
- Access control hardware prep experience a plus
- Journeyman-level applicants will be considered - rate scaled to experience.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the workday.
- Ability to work around active fabrication areas.
