Troubleshoots mechanical devices in operation and dismantles to access/replace defective parts;
Sets up and operates shop machinery such as lathe, drill press, grinders, band saws, cutting torch, welder;
Installs new or repairs/modifies hydraulic and pneumatic equipment as needed;
Completes maintenance projects with minimal guidance to minimize equipment downtime and lost production;
Improves reliability and uptime of equipment and maintains preventive maintenance mentality
