As a Community Success Manager (CSM), you will serve as a personal, in‑person point of contact for 300+ families across apartment communities in Glendale and Phoenix, Arizona. Your mission is to knock on doors, engage residents face‑to‑face, and help connect them to free benefits like tutoring, financial tools, and Viva’s mobile app—offered through a partnership between Viva and their property owner.

Key Details- Role:
Community Success Manager – part‑time contractor - Location:
Glendale and Phoenix, Arizona (travel to apartment communities required) - Hours:
Minimum 10, maximum 20 hours per week - Start date:
Negotiable; can start immediately - Reports to:
Director of Community Success - Compensation: $20‑$35 per hour, commensurate with experience; re‑evaluation after 180 days
- Travel mileage reimbursed
- Become familiar with Viva team, leadership, and product; attend weekly all‑hands meetings
- Recruit and onboard the Viva mobile app; conduct user interview sessions with families
- Learn and promote benefits available to residents (telehealth, financial wellness tools, tutoring, credit building)
- Build and maintain relationships with property management staff; act as an extension of the team
- Engage residents in person by knocking on doors, conducting conversations, and co‑creating scripts that educate families about available resources
- Follow up with residents remotely through texts and calls to help them access the benefits they expressed interest in
- Track resident engagement using shared team tracker, moving families from interest to benefit usage
- Participate in and plan in‑person gatherings or events such as monthly resident council meetings (supplemental to primary knock‑and‑talk strategy)
- Intellectually curious generalist or T‑shaped professional
- Aspirations to learn about early‑stage startups
- Motivated to help people; strong focus on equity through housing
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred but not required
- Social workers, public health professionals, and those familiar with the Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) framework encouraged
- 2+ years of experience delivering benefits (health, education, financial inclusion) directly to diverse families in an urban context preferred
$20 – $35 per hour
