** Anticipated Hiring Range: $23.00 - $28.50 hourly  Full Pay Range: $23.00 - $34.00 hourly     Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. This position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.

As the Career Advisor, you will provide adult and/or youth case management activities related to the WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) program in a variety of fast-paced, high-volume, performance-based environments throughout Maricopa County. This position utilizes assessments, career coaching, job search assistance, resource referrals, and services to help customers overcome barriers to employment, education, and training.

** About the Workforce Development Division
** As part of the Maricopa County Human Services Department, the Workforce Development Division (WDD) is responsible for providing comprehensive workforce services for adult and youth job seekers and employers in Maricopa County. Services are available through two comprehensive career centers and partner sites in cities and towns across the Valley. WDD helps the community by providing a wide range of activities designed to assist career seekers, many with significant barriers to employment, in obtaining the knowledge and skills necessary for self-supporting employment.

** We Require
*** One year of experience in employment, training programs, case management, career development activities, reentry services, or equivalent social service programs
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field
* An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis.
** Other Requirements
** Must complete background check and fingerprint identification upon hire to successfully secure and maintain the Arizona Department of Public Safety Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
