Role Overview
This position involves safely transporting students and passengers to and from school and related events, ensuring adherence to safety and traffic regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Driving the school bus, reporting maintenance issues, conducting pre-trip inspections, maintaining logs, and ensuring passenger safety and discipline.
- Operating wheelchair lifts and securing passengers with mobility needs, communicating with staff, and performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Monitoring transportation activities, collaborating during renovations, and maintaining safety systems.
High school diploma, valid Arizona Class B Driver's License with endorsements, school bus certification, CPR/First Aid, background check, and physical tests. Bilingual skills and excellent communication preferred.
RequirementsFull-time role with benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. Prior school bus driving experience and relevant licenses are required.
