This is a full-time, on-site CDL A Truck Driver role based in Phoenix-, AZ. The driver will safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight, following assigned routes and schedules while complying with all federal, state, and company regulations. Daily responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing and handling cargo, completing logs and documentation, and communicating with dispatch regarding timelines and delivery status.

The role also involves maintaining vehicle cleanliness, reporting maintenance needs, and representing Hookem Enterprises professionally with customers and at delivery and pickup locations. Drivers are expected to follow company safety protocols and contribute to a respectful, collaborative work environment.

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record; knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Experience with route planning, time management, and basic truck maintenance and inspections.
• Strong attention to detail for documentation, logs, and compliance-related paperwork.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, customers, and team members.
• Ability to lift, secure, and handle freight safely; commitment to workplace and roadway safety.
• Previous experience as a CDL A driver or in commercial trucking is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial; additional safety or transportation certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing routes and delivery needs.
