About the roleWe are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
What you'll do- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including approving sales orders, verifying credit availability and credit worthiness of customer, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables data
- Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits
- Collect on customer orders / invoices via credit card payments, checks or cash.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Generate invoices and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collection of payments.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues and provide support regarding account inquiries.
- Provide accurate AR aging reports to management and assist with financial statements.
- Assist in special projects as needed related to monthly closing and A/R customer accounts
- Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience and a minimum of two years in accounts receivable
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including double entry bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with accounting software and financial tools is essential; experience with Sage 100 is a plus
- Knowledge of Salesforce a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

The pay range for this role is: 70,000 - 85,000 USD per year (Glendale, CA)
