Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $75,000 to $100,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly account reports for multiple entities.
- Prepare detailed financial statements on a monthly basis.
- Set up and maintain internal controls over receipts and disbursements.
- Present financial data analysis to executive management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare capital investment analyses, including ROI, depreciation, and cost assessments.
- Liaise with third-party payroll services to report hours, wages, and fringe benefits.
- Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and tasks.
- Collaborate with team members and offer support when needed.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
- Communicate effectively in both written and oral formats.
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in various accounting functions, including supervisory roles.
- Understand and apply GAAP reporting standards.
- Use accounting software proficiently; experience with Sage is a plus.
- Bring knowledge of the building materials industry, though not required.
