Accounting Manager

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on individual contributor role responsible for owning the day-to-day accounting function while helping build scalable processes to support future growth. This position will operate independently at first, with the opportunity to grow into a leadership role as the accounting team expands.

• Own the full-cycle general ledger accounting process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
• Maintain accurate balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
• Manage and oversee core accounting functions, including coordination with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Prepare and maintain accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other monthly close items
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Assist with cash flow management, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support audits, tax filings, and external accountant requests
• Maintain and improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation
• Work cross-functionally with operations, sales, and leadership to support financial reporting needs
• Assist with system maintenance and optimization within accounting software and related tools
• Participate in special projects as needed and support the future build-out of the accounting team

• Minimum of 9 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a hands on or standalone accounting role
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, month end close, and financial reporting
• Proven experience performing full cycle accounting independently
• CPA certification or an MBA in Accounting or Finance is highly preferred
• Familiarity with accounting software and financial tools; experience with Sage 100 is a plus
• Knowledge of Salesforce or ERP integrated billing systems is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines

The pay range for this role is: 105, USD per year (Glendale, CA)
