Overview
Skill Set Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to work in the Glendale, CA area.
This position will be supporting accounting functions in a manufacturing environment, including month-end close, financial reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, inventory, COGS, and cost accounting.
This will be an on-site, Monday-Friday direct hire opportunity.
ResponsibilitiesProvide accounting support in a manufacturing environment with focus on month-end close, financial reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, inventory, COGS, and cost accounting.
Qualifications- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong GAAP knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with inventory or manufacturing accounting
- Account Mate experience is preferred
- Bachelor s Degree
- Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Cost Accounting
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Accounting Software
