Full-Time Central Supply Clerk

We are seeking a dependable and organized Central Supply Clerk to manage the facility's medical, office, and janitorial supplies. This full-time position plays an essential role in ensuring departments have the equipment and materials they need to provide excellent care.

Under general direction, the Central Supply Clerk operates the supply room by ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing a variety of medical, office, and janitorial supplies. The position is also responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and performing related duties as needed.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

• Order and requisition supplies and equipment to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries for accuracy and condition.
• Compare received items with invoices and freight bills.
• Report damaged or incorrect shipments to vendors, transportation companies, or the purchasing department.
• Store supplies in designated shelving, bins, and storage areas.
• Fill departmental requests for supplies and recommend substitute items when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including perpetual inventory and reorder points.
• Prepare departmental charge records and submit totals to accounting for billing.
• Conduct annual inventory counts and reconcile inventory records.
• Coordinate office equipment repairs and perform minor repairs on stocked items when appropriate.
• Assist with or oversee inventory counts and the movement or storage of supplies and equipment as needed.
