Automotive Service Porter

• Vehicle Movement:
  Drive and park customer and inventory cars between the service lane, technician stalls, and parking lots.
• Customer Service:
  Greet incoming service clients, install protective seat covers and floor mats, and retrieve finished vehicles.
• Lot Management:
  Keep the service and inventory areas neat, orderly, and organized according to dealership guidelines.
• Vehicle Prep:
  Wash, vacuum, or wipe down customer cars post-service, and check tire pressure or fluid levels.
• Support Tasks:
  Transport parts, run local dealership errands, or assist shuttle drivers as needed.

As a service consultant you will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer records. You will serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
