Content Platforms & Operations is responsible for the development and ongoing advancement of the technical and operational functions driving the worldwide distribution and monetization of Disney’s linear networks and theatrical content. The global team also plays a critical role as the primary collaboration point for Product & Technology with Disney’s EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regional business teams.

Role OverviewThe Content Platforms’ Rights Management Team is looking for a Product Manager to support day‑to‑day activities of the Product Lifecycle, defining and launching products supporting distribution of Disney’s content across Direct‑to‑Consumer, Content Sales, Transactional, Syndication, and Airlines.
Responsibilities- Articulate product strategy and gain alignment from stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
- Create product roadmaps that link vision, strategy, objectives, and execution.
- Provide end‑to‑end product management for a specific product or platform within the Rights Management domain.
- Collaborate with partners to evaluate value of enhancement requests and propose alternatives when necessary.
- Identify and define business requirements with partners and cross‑functional teams.
- Assist in process alignment and standardization.
- Deliver solutions that support product and Content Platforms strategy.
- Manage product backlog, ensuring transparent prioritization.
- Support the team in identifying, developing, and verifying solutions for complex problems.
- Coordinate major product releases and participate in daily scrum meetings.
- Make thoughtful, well‑documented assumptions, own cost/benefit analysis, and prepare lean business cases.
- Define realistic product targets, KPIs, and OKRs and leverage product frameworks to document information.
- Exhibit user empathy, seek ways to improve user experience, own system processes, guides, and training materials.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in digital media supply chain.
- Strong product understanding and platform familiarity.
- Experience in content rights and availability product management.
- Knowledge of first‑party, third‑party, and acquired content workflows for direct‑to‑consumer streaming service.
