Strategy Analyst

Bambee is an HR tech company providing HR services to small and medium-sized businesses. We're committed to delivering high-quality HR solutions and exceptional customer service. We give small business owners a Dedicated HR Manager plus software for policies, handbooks, terminations, performance management, and compliance.

You'll work directly with the CEO and senior leadership on high-stakes strategic decisions — translating company strategy into materials for investors, partners, and other external stakeholders.

What you'll do:

• Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to translate company strategy into external-facing materials
• Develop narratives that position Bambee's business model, market opportunity, and competitive advantage to external audiences
• Build management presentations that communicate strategy, performance, and vision to investors and other stakeholders
• Support high-stakes external communications and materials organization
• Coordinate press positioning and external communications strategy
• Support continuity planning and stakeholder communications during major company initiatives

What we re looking for:

Analytical thinking

• You model before you decide. You can hold multiple variables at once and see how they interact.
• You're comfortable in SQL, Sheets, and analytics tools. You can pull your own data and validate other people s claims.
• You know the difference between correlation and causation, between a vanity metric and a metric that actually predicts behavior.

Writing and narrative

• You write sharp, compelling narratives — management presentations, investor materials, or other high-stakes documents. You know how to tell a story that lands.
• You can take complex data and translate it into clear, persuasive positioning for external audiences.
• You've worked with investors, bankers, or board members. You understand how they think and what they need to hear.
• You've worked on cross-functional teams and shipped something. You understand what execution costs. You don't confuse ambition with strategy.
• You ask "Is this the bottleneck?" and "What do we need to unblock this?" You're equally comfortable in a whiteboard session and in the weeds of a quarterly plan.
• You push back on bad logic. You're direct about it, but you're kind.

Communication

• You write clean narratives. You can take a complex analysis and make it understandable to a busy CEO without losing nuance.
• You're comfortable presenting to leadership and customers. You don't hide bad news. You lead with what's wrong first.
• You listen. You ask questions before you recommend.

Product sense

• You use software like a user. You notice flows, friction, delight. You think about the whole experience.
• You understand small business. You get that our customers have 10 people, not 10,000. Their problems are different.
• You care about getting HR right. You don't need to be an HR expert, but you care about the domain.

Intellectual humility

• You change your mind when evidence suggests you should. You're genuinely interested in being wrong if it means finding the right answer.
• You know what you don't know. You ask for help. You don't pretend to have opinions on topics you haven't researched.
