Position DescriptionThe Project Accountant must be experienced in all aspects of project accounting including contracts, change orders, compliance, insurance requirements and billings. Must be able to communicate effectively, work with a variety of people in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities- Review and comprehend contracts (Prime and Sub)
- Project setup and maintenance in Viewpoint and Share drives
- Request and maintain project bond and insurance policies
- Create subcontractor contracts
- Responsible for subcontractor compliance and insurance requirements
- Process change orders (Prime and Sub)
- Process monthly billings and coordinate payments
