Job Description & How to Apply Below

Posh Peanut is a fast-growing, design-obsessed kids brand built for the modern parent. We are digitally native, move fast, and prioritize execution, creativity, and accountability. We’re building a culturally relevant brand with real scale and are looking for people who want to help drive that next phase of growth.

Role

Posh Peanut is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Apparel Graphic Designer to develop placement graphics, embroidery artwork, and other graphic applications across our apparel collections. This role will oversee each graphic from initial concept through final production approval, ensuring all artwork reflects the Posh Peanut aesthetic and meets licensing and manufacturing requirements.

What You’ll Do
  • Create original placement graphics, embroidery artwork, appliqués, patches, and other embellishment concepts for tees and apparel.
  • Develop graphics that coordinate cohesively with Posh Peanut’s seasonal prints, color palettes, collection themes, and brand aesthetic.
  • Translate creative concepts into complete, production-ready artwork files for manufacturers.
  • Prepare detailed artwork specifications, including dimensions, placement, scale, colors, Pantone references, thread colors, and construction details.
  • Recommend and specify the appropriate execution technique for each graphic, including screen print, digital print, embroidery, appliqué, flocking, foil, glitter, puff print, patches, and other specialty applications.
  • Create placement artwork and size-grade specifications for all applicable garment sizes.
  • Review and approve graphic scale, proportion, and placement across the full size range.
  • Request, track, review, and follow up on strike-offs, embroidery sew-outs, appliqué samples, and other graphic development submissions.
  • Provide clear, timely comments to manufacturers and manage revisions through final approval.
  • Partner closely with Design, Product Development, Technical Design, and Production to ensure graphics are executed accurately and meet development timelines.
  • Coordinate with the Licensing team on licensed artwork submissions, revisions, and approvals, ensuring all graphics follow licensor brand guidelines and approval requirements.
  • Maintain organized artwork files, approval records, strike-off comments, and final production standards.
  • Review pre-production and production samples to confirm approved artwork, placement, size grading, colors, and techniques are followed accurately.
  • Manage multiple seasonal collections and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience creating graphics for apparel, preferably within baby, children’s, women’s, or lifestyle brands.
  • Strong understanding of apparel placement graphics, embroidery, appliqué, printing methods, and specialty embellishment techniques.
  • Experience preparing production-ready artwork files and detailed graphic specifications for overseas manufacturers.
  • Experience reviewing strike-offs, embroidery sew-outs, lab dips, pre-production samples, and production samples.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Strong illustration, typography, color, composition, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Highly organized, with strong follow-up, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies between approved artwork and production submissions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while collaborating across departments and with overseas manufacturing partners.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience creating and approving graphic placement grading across infant, toddler, children’s, and adult apparel.
  • Experience working with licensed brands and managing licensor artwork approvals.
  • Knowledge of embroidery construction, stitch types, print limitations, and production costing considerations.
Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate combines strong creative instincts with technical production knowledge. They understand how to develop graphics that feel elevated, cohesive, and true to the Posh Peanut brand while ensuring every file, placement, technique, and size grade is clearly communicated and production-ready.

Posh Peanut Inc. is an equal opportunity employer, and we value diversity. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
