Overview
The Department of Mathematics in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, seeks to fill one or more positions as Dornsife Teaching Fellows in Mathematics. These two-year fixed-term positions target candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate education and excellence in teaching. During the two-year term, fellows will teach five courses per academic year and are expected to contribute to the scholarly life of the Mathematics Department.
Responsibilities- Teach five courses per academic year during the two-year term.
- Contribute to the scholarly life of the Mathematics Department.
- Doctoral degree in mathematics or in a closely related field of study. All areas of mathematics will be considered.
- Commitment to undergraduate education and excellence in teaching.

SalaryThe annual base salary range for this position is $78,000. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
