Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A position is available for a Special Education Teacher with expertise across various grade levels, ranging from Early Childhood and Preschool through high school (grades K-12), including middle school and high school math. This role focuses on delivering specialized instructional support tailored to diverse student needs within a school setting.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special education needs.
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to accommodate students from preschool through 12th grade, ensuring access to grade-appropriate content.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success.
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records to meet regulatory compliance.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and interventions to meet diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Support students in developing academic, social, and life skills within inclusive and resource settings.
Qualifications and Desired
Experience:
- Valid teaching credential or certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with students across multiple grade levels, ideally from early childhood to high school.
- Strong background in math instruction for middle and high school students.
- Ability to develop individualized, differentiated instruction and manage IEP processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff.
- Familiarity with state and federal special education regulations and best practices.
