Responsibilities

The Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, University of Southern California, is seeking a Part-Time Lecturer to supplement full-time faculty teaching for one section of PUBD-504 Global Issues and Public Diplomacy during the Fall 2026 semester. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience sufficient to teach one undergraduate course on the principles and practices of critical global issues and challenges;

forms of intervention by the international community; and active leadership strategies using case studies and problem-based learning.

Qualifications

Requirements for consideration include an M.S. or an M.A. degree in a related field. Previous teaching experience is desirable. For some courses, outstanding professional experience may be substituted for academic credentials.

Compensation

The hourly range for this position is $37.88 - $46.97.
