Noncredit Life Skills Adjunct Instructor - Soft Skills​/Workforce Readiness

Position

Part‑time Vocational (Short Term) Instructor in the Noncredit Business and Life Skills Division, teaching noncredit soft‑skills courses such as Customer Service, On‑the‑Job Communication, and 21st Century Employment Strategies. Courses are taught in‑person and/or online.

Minimum qualifications, in order of preference:

• Master’s degree in the subject area.
• Master’s degree in any discipline plus two years of occupational experience related to the subject taught.
• Bachelor’s degree plus four years of occupational experience related to the subject taught.
• For apprenticeship courses, the applicant must meet the district’s minimum qualifications for noncredit apprenticeship instructors, which include a Master’s degree and a clear California Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential.

$82.33 – $93.50 per hour.
