Substitute Teacher

Have or be eligible for a 30-day substitute teaching credential. Fully credentialed teachers are desirable. Proficient in another language such as Spanish, Armenian, Korean, Japanese, German, French, or Italian desirable. Credentials in Special Education are also desirable. See the California Commission on Teaching Credentialing website for more information on a 30-day substitute teaching credential. All applicants must submit a letter of introduction, a resume, transcripts (Bachelors only), any certifications, and five references.

Applicants must attach all required documents as part of their online application. Unfortunately, Glendale Unified will not accept attachments via fax or email. If you do not hold a 30 day sub permit, please review the following directive from the CTC.
