Per Diem Instructional Assistant - Glendale, California

As an Instructional Aide, your days will be rewarding and varied. You’ll work alongside teachers to support students in classroom routines, transitions, and active participation. You’ll help implement behavior support strategies, follow Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and provide assistance with personal care, supervision, and mobility as needed. Ensuring a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment will be one of your top priorities.

To qualify, school compliance requires:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Willingness to complete a TB test per district guidelines
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Up-to-date (or willingness to obtain) all necessary clearances

Your experience in education, special education, behavioral health, or childcare will set you apart, especially if you’ve supported students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges. CPI, PMT, or RBT training is valuable but not required. A patient, reliable, and collaborative approach is essential.
