AboutThe Role
We're looking for a part-time Robotics and Coding Teacher to lead small-group classes for kids using LEGO Education robotics kits and beginner coding platforms like Scratch and Code.org. This is a great opportunity for education or STEM students, recent graduates, or anyone looking to build teaching experience in a supportive, hands-on environment.
Schedule & FlexibilityClasses run weekday afternoons starting at 3:00 PM and weekend mornings starting at 10:00 AM. You choose what fits your availability - you could take on a single group one afternoon a week, a weekend slot only, or build up to several sessions across the week. There's no pressure to commit to a full schedule - we work around you.
Responsibilities- Teach robotics and coding classes using LEGO Education kits and platforms like Scratch and Code.org
- Guide students through building, programming, and problem-solving
- Adapt lessons for different ages, learning styles, and needs
- Maintain a structured, positive, and engaging classroom environment
- Support both general enrichment students and autism-friendly groups
- Experience teaching or tutoring children in a STEM, enrichment, or classroom setting
- Hands-on experience with LEGO Education robotics kits
- Familiarity with Scratch, Code.org, or similar beginner coding platforms
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for working with kids
- Studying or graduated in education, computer science, engineering, or a related STEM field
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, or other coding languages
- Experience supporting neurodiverse or special needs learners
- Flexible part-time hours - ideal for students or those building a teaching portfolio
- Pick up as little as one session per week or build a fuller schedule - completely up to you
- Small class sizes and a supportive team environment
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard LEGO Education curriculum
