Aviation Adjunct Instructor (Certified Flight Instructor)
The Technology and Aviation Division is currently accepting applications for an Aviation Adjunct Instructor (Certified Flight Instructor). The teaching assignment may be for Late Start Fall 2026, Winter 2027 or Spring 2027.
Minimum QualificationsAny Bachelors or higher plus two years of experience in the discipline, and certificates or license required to do that work OR any Associates degree plus six years of experience in the discipline, and certificates or licenses required to do that work, or the equivalent.
Possession of an FAA issued commercial pilot license, or higher.
Current CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) certificate and/or AGI (Advanced Ground Instructor) certificate.
Desirable
Qualifications:
1500 hours of Logged Flight Time.
Current CFII (Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument) certificate.
Experience working as a chief pilot, check airman, or similar position.
Teaching experience working with adult population.
