Job OverviewJoin a dynamic team as a Manufacturing Engineer, focusing on cable assembly and harnessing product areas. You will be responsible for creating detailed manufacturing work instructions for the construction of mechanical assemblies. Collaborate with the design engineering team to enhance manufacturing processes and identify potential cost reductions. Engage directly with production floor operators and utilize your skills in Solid Works to create CAD drawings for tooling and various products.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement detailed manufacturing work instructions for mechanical assemblies.
- Identify and implement process improvements and best practices for mechanical assembly utilization.
- Collaborate with the design engineering team to provide input on manufacturing processes and cost reduction strategies.
- Work closely with operators on the production floor to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.
- Create CAD drawings using Solid Works for tooling and product development.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering, particularly in the aerospace sector.
- Proficiency in creating work instructions and design documentation.
- Solid Works proficiency for CAD drawing creation.
- Knowledge of subsea manufacturing processes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing.
This role is based in the subsea division, offering a stable and rapidly growing environment. Job Type & LocationContract to Hire position based out of Glendale, CA.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
