Electro‑Mechanical Manufacturing Technician – Global Entertainment Client

We are looking for an experienced Electro‑Mechanical Manufacturing Technician to work onsite in Glendale, CA. The ideal candidate will have more than five years of relevant experience in electrical or electro‑mechanical assembly and will be able to work independently and collaboratively with engineering, QC, and production teams.

Compensation

Rate: $30–40 per hour (Estimated $28–$40)

Type: 1‑Year Contract

Location: Glendale, CA – onsite (5 days per week)

Responsibilities
  • Fabricate, assemble, wire, and troubleshoot complex, prototype electrical and electro‑mechanical systems in support of engineering designs.
  • Perform hands‑on wiring, terminating, integration, and functional testing of advanced electrical assemblies and systems.
  • Support project execution including mock‑ups, system integration, troubleshooting, and installation activities.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and quality teams to identify, resolve, and mitigate deviations from assembly or design requirements.
  • Produce and maintain electrical documentation, including wiring diagrams, wiring lists, and connector schedules.
  • Provide technical input into the review and improvement of internal standards related to electrical design, fabrication, and production processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow, tooling, safety, and efficiency; demonstrate ownership through implementation of process improvements.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to external vendors producing electrical or electro‑mechanical assemblies.
  • Accurately communicate assembly progress to support project scheduling, estimating, and delivery timelines.
  • Support installation or commissioning activities at on‑site facilities as required.
  • Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with applicable electrical and manufacturing standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in electrical or electro‑mechanical assembly within manufacturing, prototyping, aerospace, automotive, medical device, or related industries.
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, and produce electrical documentation, including wiring diagrams, wiring lists, and connector schedules.
  • Demonstrated expertise in wiring, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting complex electrical assemblies and systems.
  • Solid understanding of electrical and electronic design principles.
  • Experience integrating electrical systems into mechanical assemblies.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills using modern diagnostic tools, equipment, and software.
  • Working knowledge of UL compliance and electrical safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions without constant supervision.
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional engineering, QC, and production teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or college education preferred or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in electro‑mechanical assembly with a strong emphasis on electrical systems.
  • Experience supporting prototype development or one‑of‑a‑kind builds in high‑complexity environments.
  • Background in entertainment systems, automation, robotics, aerospace, automotive, or medical devices.
