About Your Role:

This is an R&D role for the film product development with the project management responsibility.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Responsible for new product solution development to meet customer needs and deliver business results timely, mainly focusing on film label design projects.
  • Responsible for driving R&D projects and the technology platform in the related field across multiple divisions and multiple countries in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Responsible for working with product manager, business development team and sales team to understand marketing as well as identify and transfer the opportunities as the real products.
  • Work with operation, procurement and supply chain functions to develop/qualify new materials
  • Provide the technical support to functions about your technical area
  • Work with global technical experts to build a robust connection for technical communication.

Minimum 5 years' experience in New Product Development with proven records of project delivery.

  • Film or adhesive related development experience is preferred.
  • Paper/coating/printing industry experience and knowledge about label/packaging/printing will be plus.
  • Good communication, organization, interaction skills.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional and global teams and willingness to be a team player, demonstrate technical leadership in team work and proved record of successful leading.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into product specifications.
  • Sense of urgency and agility to deliver solutions to customer needs.
  • English communication both written and spoken, is required. English CET-6 certification is required.
  • Master's degree or above in Material Science, Printing or Chemical Engineering, or other relevant fields.
