Responsibilities- Manage civil engineering land development projects from planning and entitlement through construction.
- Oversee civil engineering designs, plans, reports, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, proposals, invoices, and change orders.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
- Review project deliverables for quality, accuracy, and compliance.
- Attend project meetings, agency meetings, and client presentations.
- Mentor and support junior engineering staff.
- Assist with business development and client relationship management efforts.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines and project objectives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Current California Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 8+ years of civil engineering and land development experience preferred.
- Previous project management experience required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and client relationships.
- Leadership and team management experience preferred.
- Experience with healthcare, higher education, civic, commercial, industrial, residential, or mixed-use developments is a plus.
