Senior UX Designer – Disney Digital Entertainment
We are building a talented development team to create groundbreaking game experiences that embody the next generation of Disney. This remote role is ideal for a seasoned game developer who is passionate about Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, and 20th Century properties and wants to help shape iconic gaming experiences.
What You Will Do- Collaborate with the Lead UX Designer and stakeholders to craft a cohesive, player‑first experience.
- Develop interactive content for multiple Disney titles using Unreal Engine and UEFN.
- Create wireframes, iterate on UI/UX systems and features, and produce polished UI mockups with Figma.
- Support bug fixes, implementation, and UI layout creation within the engine.
- Participate in playtests, gather usability feedback, and refine experiences alongside your lead and peers.
- Work with developers to build interfaces that enhance gameplay, writing and maintaining detailed design documentation.
- 5+ years of game development experience, with at least one shipped game.
- Proficient in Unreal Engine and/or UEFN, with an iterative, feedback‑driven mindset.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to partner with designers and engineers to deliver optimal user experiences.
- Experience developing for multiple platforms—Console/PC and Mobile.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, problem‑solving, and consensus‑building abilities.
- Deep knowledge of Disney IP, including characters, lore, and storytelling across media.
- Creative problem‑solving and a passion for innovative UI design in games.
- Proficiency in Figma for UI mockups and wireframes.
- Strong understanding of best UI/UX practices in varied gaming styles.
- Experience working with 3D game engines and the UI design limitations and opportunities they present.
- Clear, effective communication with cross‑functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CompensationRemote salary range: $100,100 to $154,300 per year, adjusted for geographic location, internal equity, and individual qualifications. Bonus and long‑term incentive units may be available, along with a full suite of medical and financial benefits.
