Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Accountant to join their team for a Temporary for 3+months duration role. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $30 to $33 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
Report the organization's finances to management.
Compile and analyze financial data.
Enter account information to document financial transactions.
Offer suggestions on resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
Monitor daily cash activity and resolve discrepancies.
Analyze general ledger accounts and process journal entries

Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field of study
1+ year accounting and reconciliations experience
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Experience:

Familiarity with standard accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a high volume workload.
Attention to detail.
