* Adecco is now hiring for an Accounts Receivable Clerk position for a manufacturing company, where the company culture promotes collaboration, accountability, curiosity, respect, and embracing each other's differences in the Glendale/Los Angeles area. This is a temporary position.
Responsibilities:
+ Own end-to-end AR processes, including invoicing, credit memos, cash application, and customer account maintenance across multiple sales channels.
+ Ensure accuracy of customer balances through timely reconciliations of AR sub-ledger to the general ledger.
+ Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities related to AR, revenue, and reserves.
+ Lead collections efforts for past-due accounts, including customer outreach, dispute resolution, and negotiation of payment plans.
+ Monitor and manage AR aging, identify risk trends, and proactively recommend actions to minimize exposure and improve cash flow.
+ Calculate and monitor bad debt reserves and AR allowances in accordance with GAAP.
+ Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
+ Support sales tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including coordination with third-party tax providers.

Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
+ 1-3 years in accounts receivable, accounting support, billing, or high-volume data entry
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing
+ Proficiency in Excel (reconciliations, analysis, reporting) and comfortable working with spreadsheets and reports.
+ Ability to follow established procedures and escalate exceptions clearly
+ Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
+ Experience in high-volume processing environments preferred
+ Prior experience with cash applications, payment posting, or invoice processing preferred
+ Experience supporting reconciliations or finance operations
+ Familiarity with customer account maintenance and document control
Shifts Available:
Shifts are available from Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, hours vary from 24-32 hours

** Pay Details:** $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
