About this positionDIRECTOR OF STRATEGIC FINANCE JOB SUMMARY
Working under the direction of the CFO, the Director of Strategic Finance is a key member of the finance leadership team with wide responsibilities from finance to accounting, and a focus on growth. The Director will be instrumental in decision‑support, providing relevant data, thoughtful analysis, and sound recommendations to the CFO and senior leadership. The Director will oversee accounting activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, audit, accounts payable processing, accounts receivable collection, and tax compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Provide strategic guidance on investments, capital structure, and financial risk management.
- Lead financial reporting processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to support business initiatives and provide financial insights.
- Monitor key performance indicators and financial metrics, exploring opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to guide decision‑making.
- Evaluate and drive improvements in financial processes and systems.
- Manage relationships with external partners, investors, and financial institutions.
- Prepare presentations and reports for executive leadership and board meetings.
- Mentor and develop financial team members to enhance overall capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and economic factors impacting the business.
- Evaluate potential M&A, partnership, and strategic investment – from initial assessment through diligence and execution.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the CFO.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in accounting and/or finance.
- CPA is a plus but not required.

$150K-$180K/yr
