Financial Planning and Analysis Consultant

Elevate Recruiting is partnering with a publicly traded company to identify a talented Financial Analyst consultant to join its Financial Planning & Analysis team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical finance professional looking to gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, executive reporting, business partnering, and strategic analysis within a dynamic corporate environment.

• Support the annual budget and periodic forecasting processes across multiple business units
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, including variance analysis against budget and prior periods
• Analyze business performance and identify key drivers impacting financial results
• Develop and maintain management reporting, dashboards, and analytical tools to support strategic decision-making
• Partner with business leaders to provide insights on financial performance, key metrics, and operational trends
• Assist in preparing materials for executive leadership, Investor Relations, Audit Committee, and Board meetings
• Perform ad hoc financial modeling and analysis to support strategic initiatives and business growth
• Identify opportunities to improve FP&A processes, reporting, and forecasting capabilities

• 2–5 years of FP&A experience (public company experience preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Strong understanding of financial statements, variance analysis, and forecasting methodologies
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
• Experience with Hyperion is a plus
