Overview
The Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC invites applicants for a full-time (100%), non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical. The selected candidate will have an appointment in the Division of Biomedical Sciences. Candidates must have an MS or PhD or professional degree in a field related to anatomy of the craniofacial complex. Healthcare education experience is considered a plus.
Preference will be given to candidates with expertise and/or experience in instructional activities for dental students in the area of craniofacial dissection. Additional instructional activity is available as a faculty facilitator for Problem Based Learning (PBL) which uses standardized patients for foundational biomedical knowledge in preparation for National Board of Dental Examiners testing.
- Engage in instructional activities for dental students in craniofacial dissection.
- Serve as a faculty facilitator for Problem Based Learning (PBL) using standardized patients for foundational biomedical knowledge and examination preparation.
- MS or PhD or professional degree in a field related to anatomy of the craniofacial complex.
- Healthcare education experience is a plus.

The annual salary range for this position is $111,000 - $120,000. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
