We are seeking a Senior Visualization Engineer – Micro Strategy who can work closely with business stakeholders and customers to understand analytical requirements and translate them into intuitive, high-performing Micro Strategy dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate combines strong client-handling and communication skills with deep expertise in Micro Strategy visualization and BI development, and can independently own end-to-end analytics delivery.

5+ years of experience in BI and data visualization, with strong hands-on expertise in Micro Strategy
.

Proven experience in customer handling, requirement gathering, and stakeholder communication
.

Strong skills in Micro Strategy Developer, Workstation, Web, and Library
.

Solid understanding of SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts
.

Strong analytical, visualization, and storytelling skills.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics
, or related field.

Data visualization is the representation of data or information in a graph, chart, or other visual format. It communicates relationships of the data with images. Visual summary of information makes it easier to identify patterns and trends than looking through thousands of rows of data. Charts and graphs make communicating data findings easier.

• BI tools schema definition, design, implementation, and maintenance
• Performance tuning, testing, and troubleshooting of the BI solutions
• Interpret business requirements to functional and technical specifications
• Setting up the development environment and configuration of the development tools
• Manage, monitor, and ensure the security and privacy of data to satisfy business needs
• Work closely with DBAs on data model or database changes
• Participate in after-hours support rotation when needed
• Communicate with all the project stakeholders on the project
• Co-ordinating with the UAT team

• Experience in different visualization techniques, data profiling and data validation
• Experience in gathering requirements and documentation processes
• Experience in performing unit testing
• Proficient in advanced SQL programming concepts
• Good Knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts
• Knowledgeable in relational databases, nonrelational databases, data streams, and file stores
• Sound aptitude, outstanding logical reasoning, and analytical skills
• Willingness to learn and take initiatives
• Ability to conduct query performance tuning
• Ability to work with a diverse team and adapt to fast-paced Agile environment
