Job SummaryThe Walt Disney Studios Content Security organization is chartered with the securing and protection of all creative content throughout the production lifecycle. We rely on deep technical expertise, strong partnerships, and knowledge of cybersecurity, technology, and production best practices. The organization is part of the broader Studio Technology group and reports to the Studio’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This role reports to the Director of Content Security Engineering.
The program manager works Monday‑Thursday in the office in Glendale, CA, with Fridays remote.
- Develop and coordinate programs, considering stakeholder needs, team capabilities, and resource availability.
- Act as a liaison and guide partners through secure design, architectural reviews, and technical assessments for custom and vendor tools.
- Build strong relationships across Content Security, Studio Technology, and business stakeholders to align security initiatives with studio goals and creative workflows.
- Drive process optimization, identifying bottlenecks and automating common use cases.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor program effectiveness and operational metrics; present reports and insights to leadership.
- Stay ahead of trends in AI, cloud security, and content pipeline tooling; lead solutioning for challenges and eliminate roadblocks.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years technical program management experience.
- Technical knowledge of cybersecurity and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Proven success leading cross‑functional programs and interfacing with engineering teams to implement and optimize security tools.
- Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting technical concepts to executive audiences.
- Entertainment/media industry experience.
- PMP or equivalent security certifications.
- Experience with technical tools such as Smartsheet, Tableau, Power BI, and media production platforms (Adobe, DaVinci, Aspera, etc.).
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $134,000 to $149,000 per year. The base pay will be based on internal equity, geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided, along with a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
