Systems Engineer – Desktop Engineering

Seeking those with a Systems Engineer/Desktop Engineering background – will be supporting the building of a lab/data center and must have strong experience in both Mac OS and Windows OS. Must have the following technical skillset:

• 3-5 years in a systems/desktop engineer position servicing HW/SW and ideally setting up large desktop infrastructures with hands-on experience in physical device setup and support
• Experience working in a production environment and data center to ensure device uptime
• Experience supporting and maintaining enterprise IT infrastructure and device lifecycle (set up, maintenance, troubleshooting, decommissioning)
• Strong experience with Windows OS and Mac OS
• Expertise in laptop, desktop device troubleshooting
• Knowledge of KVM switches and hardware setup in a lab/data center environment
• Ability to conduct pre-production testing for software and hardware compatibility (e.g., Zoom, essential enterprise applications)
• Proficiency with device monitoring tools such as Aternity
• Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, including: JAMF (Mac OS); SCCM (Windows);
  Intune (Cloud-based endpoint management)
