Job Summary
Our client, a major entertainment and media company, is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to support a global intranet platform. This person will write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and support QA activities including regression testing, while acting as a day‑to‑day contact across the project and feeding into requirements as a supporting product owner. Looking for someone with real hands‑on experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria, not just general requirements gathering, plus strong documentation skills and experience in a large, complex company environment.
This position is W-2 only.
Contract Length: 12 month
Location:
Glendale, CA
- Write user stories for development work and define acceptance criteria
- Support quality assurance activities and assist with regression testing
- Participate in deployments and coordinate among developers, QA, and business stakeholders
- Troubleshoot issues and document failures, workarounds, and resolutions clearly
- Support internal partners and employees using the platform, including microsite/page building
- Create and maintain detailed project, product, and customer documentation
- Identify risks and roadblocks, driving resolution through status meetings and work sessions
- Engage proactively with partners to understand needs and recommend paths forward
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of project/program management and business analysis experience
- 3+ years managing large, complex, cross-functional projects
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiating, and influencing skills
- Proven success leading projects from concept through launch into operational phase
- Strong facilitation, organizational, prioritization, and conflict resolution skills
- Solid understanding of project management methodology, risk management, and resource allocation
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, web technologies, and web development/design processes
- Experience producing detailed project documentation
- Experience in a complex, large-company environment
- Previous digital media development experience
- UX/UI/usability design, requirements, or QA experience
- Agile development process experience
- Enterprise technology service design and management experience
- Web analytics tools experience
- Web content management systems experience

Compensation & BenefitsPay Range:
The approximate pay range for this position is between $36.00 and $52.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
