  • Define and lead the data science and analytics vision and multi-year roadmap for Content Analytics
  • Build and lead high-performing teams of data scientists and analysts across Engagement Analytics, Content Analytics, and Strategic Forecasting & Decision Science
  • Lead development and implementation of predictive machine learning, time series forecasting, survival, segmentation, and causal inference models
  • Partner with engineering to operationalize models into production
  • Architect and execute the multi-year data science and analytics roadmap for content, including operating models, methodologies, tools, technology, and data products
  • Lead methodological innovation and serve as a future-focused voice on data science, AI, and analytics
  • Lead needs assessment, requirements gathering, prototyping, validation, and partner engagement for model and product development
  • Advise senior leadership in DTC Content Planning & Partnerships, Subscriber Planning, and Finance through forecasting and scenario-planning models
  • Build frameworks, methodologies, models, and tools for title-level decisions, content valuation, portfolio composition, global optimization, audience behavior, and originals-versus-licensing-versus-partnership trade-offs
  • Identify and implement data science modeling and AI opportunities for content strategy and planning
  • Embed data science and analytics leadership in Engagement, Retention, and AI squads
  • Partner with data engineering on infrastructure, feature stores, and data products
  • Translate complex models and analyses into actionable executive recommendations
  • Foster a collaborative, high-trust culture and align creative, finance, business, technology, and marketing stakeholders
  • Develop talent through coaching, mentoring, and leadership growth
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or decision science roles
  • 8+ years in leadership or management
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Analytics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
  • Deep experience in media and entertainment video content strategy, including content valuation, licensing, and global content investment decisions
  • Proven track record building and scaling data science and analytics capabilities and teams of data scientists supporting content, programming, or portfolio decisions
  • Experience leading statistical and machine learning models at scale, including time series forecasting, survival analysis, segmentation and clustering, propensity models, and causal inference, and operationalizing them into production
  • Deep knowledge of machine learning algorithms and advanced statistics
  • Ability to architect and deliver multi-year data science and analytics roadmaps
  • Experience translating complex data, models, and analytics into clear, actionable storylines for non-technical audiences
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and gaining stakeholder alignment
  • Ability to identify patterns across complex, disparate data sets and translate them into insights, models, methodologies, and frameworks
  • Strong fluency with SQL, Python/R, statistical and ML platforms, Looker, and Tableau
  • Experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, and AWS or equivalent
  • Track record of executive communication and influence across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Graduate degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a related quantitative discipline is preferred
  • Prior leadership experience in streaming media and/or a direct-to-consumer subscription business is preferred
  • Knowledge of subscription models, engagement and retention dynamics, and content's role in the subscriber lifecycle is preferred
  • Demonstrated financial impact through data science applications and models in production is preferred
  • Experience implementing Generative AI applications for data science and analytics is preferred
  • Experience with NLP methods applied to audience, content, or survey data is preferred
  • Experience supporting content studios and content partnership functions is preferred
  • Familiarity with international content strategy and global-market data science and analytics is preferred
