We are seeking a skilled professional to join our dynamic and collaborative team.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer and Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will program and operate a HAAS VF2 and TL-1, manage the machine shop’s organization and safety, operate an OMAX waterjet
, and train others on shop equipment. Additionally, you will machine small‑run parts and custom fixtures essential for our testing laboratory.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in CNC programming and machining to contribute to a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • CNC Programming and Operation:
    Program, set up, and operate CNC machines, specifically the HAAS VF2 and TL-1.
  • Waterjet Operation:
    Operate and maintain the OMAX waterjet to ensure optimal performance.
  • Shop Organization:
    Maintain a clean, organized, and safe machine shop environment.
  • Team Training:
    Train team members on the proper use of CNC machines and shop equipment.
  • Machining:
    Machine small-run parts and custom fixtures to support testing operations.
  • Quality Control:
    Ensure all machined parts meet required specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with the engineering team to enhance and optimize machining processes.
  • Record Keeping:
    Maintain accurate records of machining operations and equipment maintenance activities.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer and Machinist, with expertise in operating HAAS VF2 and TL-1.
  • Experience with programming and operating an OMAX waterjet.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • GED required; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Self‑motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 5 years in CNC programming and machining.
