CHEMICAL OPERATOR — TEMP-TO-HIRE
Pay: $19/hour
Location: Glendale, AZ
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday
Job SummaryMadden Industrial Craftsmen is hiring Chemical Operators for a temp-to-hire opportunity at a chemical manufacturing facility in Glendale, AZ. This role provides progressive training in chemical production, container filling, and industrial plant operations within a highly regulated and safety-focused environment.
Responsibilities- Perform labor duties supporting production and plant operations
- Operate propane forklift to move containers and materials
- Stage containers and support fill line operations
- Assist with plant housekeeping and cleanup
- Support maintenance and preparation tasks on containers and equipment
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and tankers after training
- Complete filling logs and production reports
- Connect and disconnect railcars
- Assist with cylinder valve rebuilding and inspection processes
- Support bleach manufacturing and product sampling
- Perform minor equipment maintenance
- Participate in safety training and emergency response team as required
- Conduct visual inspections of cylinders and containers per DOT standards
- Chemical manufacturing or production experience
- Forklift experience (propane forklift strongly)
- Ability to maneuver trucks/trailers for loadout after training
- Strong safety awareness in chemical environment
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials regularly
Reliable attendance and willingness to learn progressive skills

- Monday–Friday starting at 5:00 AM (8+ hrs/day avg.)
- Start time may vary
- Overtime based on production needs
- Monday–Friday starting at 4:00 AM (10–12 hrs/day avg.)
- Start time may vary
- Overtime discretionary based on production
