The Job:We are looking for someone that can prepare or read schematics, fabricate and wire, and test electrical panels, motors and sensors for industrial CNC machinery and manufacturing automation.
Once you are here:You will be an integral member of the electrical team working alongside both electrical and mechanical engineers ensuring that our custom machinery functions reliably and safely.
Relevant experience and mindset:- Dimension and layout of back panels and enclosures.
- Mounting of components to back panels and enclosures.
- CNC Machine savvy.
- Routing and bundling of wire and cables neatly to meet wiring standards.
- Point to point wiring of relays, controls, PLC, I/O Modules, VFDs, Interfaces, & Instrumentation.
- Troubleshoot panels as needed to eliminate wiring errors and component malfunctions.
- Maintain red line drawing mark-ups of changes required during fabrication.
- Communicate redline changes to Engineer or Team Leader for revision prior to completion.
- Communicates effectively with all team members, leads, builders, engineers, and Project Manager.
- The ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- A high standard of quality and attention to detail.
- Routing and bending conduit.
- Schematics designing/drafting background.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
