Director of Public Relations

We’re looking for a Director of Public Relations to lead PR strategy, media relations, and brand storytelling across a diverse portfolio of clients.

This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced PR professional who can develop the strategy and execute it. You’ll lead client relationships, build compelling narratives, secure meaningful earned media, and identify opportunities that keep our clients relevant and visible.

• Develop and execute PR and communications strategies across multiple client accounts.
• Lead media relations and proactive pitching, securing coverage across consumer, lifestyle, business, digital, broadcast, and relevant trade media.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, producers, and other key media contacts.
• Identify timely news hooks, cultural moments, trends, partnerships, and storytelling opportunities.
• Lead PR strategy for product launches, brand announcements, events, partnerships, and executive thought leadership.
• Develop press releases, pitches, talking points, messaging frameworks, media alerts, executive bios, and other communications materials.
• Serve as a senior strategic partner to clients, leading presentations, strategy meetings, and ongoing communications.
• Lead, mentor, and develop PR team members while remaining actively involved in execution.
• Collaborate with Social, Influencer, Content, Creative, and Paid Media teams to develop integrated campaigns.
• Establish KPIs and measure media coverage, share of voice, sentiment, reach, and overall PR effectiveness.
• Provide strategic communications and reputation counsel when sensitive or high-pressure situations arise.

• 8+ years of PR, communications, or media relations experience.
• Agency experience strongly preferred.
• Proven success securing meaningful earned media coverage for consumer-facing brands.
• Strong, current relationships with journalists, editors, producers, and media outlets.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Exceptional writing, pitching, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Strong client-facing presence and ability to confidently counsel senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Understanding of how PR, social media, influencer marketing, content, and digital marketing work together.
• Ability to balance high-level strategy with hands‑on execution.
• Proactive, resourceful, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
