Registered Nurse (Patient Care Team Lead)

• Support the Chief Nursing Officer in leading the patient care team to ensure the safety, recovery, and comfort of patients.
• Implement the nursing process—including assessment, nursing diagnosis, care and education planning, intervention implementation, and evaluation.
• Provide patient education, advocacy, and support in compliance with CMS Conditions of Participation, Title 22, CDPH regulations, and DNV-GL/NIAHO standards.
• Collaborate with department managers and directors on quality improvement and unit service growth.
• Lead shift planning with the charge nurse and contribute to overall unit planning and improvement.
• Precept and validate competency of new hires and new procedures, and teach nursing students.
• Delegate tasks to RNs, LVNs, and CNAs as appropriate.
• Coordinate assigned team functions and communicate expectations regarding interventions and reporting.
• Assess patient acuity and make clinical judgments within the legal scope of practice.
• Maintain a healing environment, prevent harm, and educate patients on self‑care and abnormal findings.

• Minimum education:
  
  Graduation from a Registered Nurse Program; BSN preferred (obtained within 5 years if not upon hire).
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience in an acute care setting (or 2 years for Orthopedic/Medical‑Surgical roles).
• Experience in treating orthopedic and stroke patient populations preferred.
• Required California Registered Nurse License.
• Preferred certifications (must be active at hire): BLS and ACLS; PALS for PACU/SDS/ GI Lab; ICU/Telemetry: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; ED: BLS, ACLS, PALS, AB508, NIHSS, NRP, ENPC.

Hourly rate range: $47.58 to $76.68.
