• Provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, including monitoring vital signs, performing assessments, and implementing care plans.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders; observe for adverse reactions and document responses.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (nursing, physicians, case management) to coordinate care and plan for safe discharge.
• Document patient status, interventions, and progress in the electronic medical record with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Maintain patient safety, infection control practices, and adherence to hospital policies; respond promptly to calls and emergencies.
• Ensure clear handoffs between shifts and continuity of care for all assigned patients.

• Active California RN license.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Recent Med/Surg nursing experience.
• Ability to work 12-hour daytime shifts (07:00–19:30).
• Education:
  
  graduate from an approved nursing program (RN).
