• Deliver direct patient care to NICU patients in alignment with the nursing process and established standards of care.
• Monitor neonatal patients, interpret assessments, and implement orders for medications, therapies, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, lactation consultants, and other disciplines to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across levels; delegate tasks in a safe, effective manner.
• Document care plans, progress notes, and vital signs accurately; maintain pediatric/neonatal infection control and safety practices.
• Apply critical thinking and professional judgment to priority patient needs and elevate concerns as appropriate.

• Active Registered Nurse license in California (or eligible in-state practice) in good standing.
• NICU experience or recent NICU exposure; travel experience in neonatal care is advantageous.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; RN degree required.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts; 3 days per week in a travel assignment.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a high-acuity NICU setting and adhere to unit policies and procedures.
